EPPO Reporting Service (2012/191) : cypress canker is found throughout New Zealand (present on both Islands). The incidence and impact of the disease intensify as the mean temperature increases, making it more prominent in Northland and Auckland. The three causal fungi (S. cardinale, S. cupressi, S. unicorne) have been reported from New Zealand.
