EPPO Reporting Service (2016/191) : some authors (Rugman-Jones et al., 2013), considers that the species which has invaded California is not R. ferrugineus but R. vulneratus. The pest was subsequently eradicated (eradication confirmed in 2015-01-20). The estimated cost of the eradication was 1 003 646 USD.
