Comments
First found in 2012/2013 in Sochi (Southern Russia), where it mainly damaged Phoenix canariensis and Washingtonia robusta.

EPPO Reporting Service (2025/255) : appears in the 2024 report of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation as a quarantine pest of limited distribution in Russia: present in 1 federal subject (12,000 ha).
