Comments
First found in 2012 in coastal area of the city of Ulcinj on Phoenix canariensis. Until October 2014, the pest remained restricted to this area. However, it then started to spread and by 2016, it was recorded along the whole seacoast of Montenegro, causing serious damage (mainly on P. canariensis).
