Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (1999/119) : a few adults caught in a date palm plantation near Jericho (close to the infestation site in Jordan).

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/088) : a quarantine area was delimited and declared covering 600 ha of date palms. Surveillance (by mass trapping) and control (chemical treatments and destruction of heavily infested trees) was sustained. After 4 years, catches have been reduced from 324 in 2000 to 26 in 2002, and no new infested area was found in 2002.
