------- R. pseudosolanacearum [phylotype I] confirmed for all 207 isolates collected from tomato in 12 provinces (Ha Noi, Hai Duong, Hai Phong Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Nghe An in the north; and Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh, Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Can Tho in the south) . Bacterial wilt has been one of the most important diseases of tomato, pepper, groundnut, and potato in Vietnam and is expanding.
