------- 239 isolates were collected from 10 of 22 communes (Macouria, Cacao, Montsinéry, Javouhey, Mana, Wayabo, Matoury, Sinnamany, Regina and Saint Laurent du Maroni) from the families Solanaceae and Cucurbitaceae. Strains were distributed within R. pseudosolanacearum [phylotype I] (46.9%) and R. solanacearum [phylotype IIA] (26.8%) and [phylotype IIB] (26.3%).
