EPPO Reporting Service (2013/169) : new disease causing extentive oak mortality in the Republic of Korea.

From Kim et al. (2016), genetic studies suggest that this fungus has been introduced into the Republic of Korea but its origin remains unknown.

Lee et al. (2020) considered that it is probably native to South Korea.
