Comments
NPPO (2018) First found in July 2016 in Canton of Valais on apricot trees in 3 commercial orchards. The pest was also found on apple and pear trees. In 2017, it was estimated that the infested area was of 20 ha. In infested orchards, different chemical and biological control measures were taken to contain the pest.

NPPO (2023): no further surveys were conducted and no additional official measures were taken as the organism is not regulated as a quarantine pest in Europe.
