Comments
The bacterium was found in potato fields in the 1940s and early 1950s and successfully eradicated.

A new outbreak was found in April/May 1995 in the centre-coastal region (EPPO Reporting Service (1996/22) ). Source was probably infected seed potatoes imported from Netherlands. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (1997/111) : measures maintained in outbreak area. Only one field found infested in 1996.
