EPPO Reporting Service (96/002): reports before 1945 are probably based on misidentifications. Not recorded in Poland since 1945.
During the period 2006-2010, the following numbers of samples were tested: potatoes - 88 954, water - 19 589, other host plants - 44. All tested samples gave negative results (NPPO, 2011-06).
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/242) : detected in 2011 in a water sample.
Survey of the 2012 potato harvest did not detect the bacterium. More than 2000 samples of water were tested in 2012, all gave negative results.
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/001) : first found in December 2014 in 1 lot of ware potatoes, under eradication.
