Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/117) : confirmed in 2008 in 1 tree in Hamburg (it is also reported that the disease has also been observed on other trees but no details were given on their detailed location in Germany).

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/035) : disease also found in Sachsen on 6 horse chestnut trees (pathogen identity confirmed in 1 tree).

According to Melzer et al. (2019): found again in Hamburg in 82 trees (in mixed infection with Phytophthora cactorum in 3 trees).
