In earlier versions of the database there was an old record of presence of the fungus in the USA ('from the Caribbean Plant Protection Commission (CPPC)' - see below). However, as the exact source of this record could not be retrieved nor confirmed by more recent publications, it is now considered as unreliable (EPPO Secretariat, 2021). In addition, this fungus has not been detected during official surveys and is a 'select agent' (regulated pest) for the USA.
