Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2019/133) : found on Jatropha clavuligera. Not reported on crop plants such as tomato. Considered as a potential biological control agent for J. gossypiifolia in Australia.

EPPO Reporting Service (2022/076) : the species collected on Jatropha species in Bolivia and Paraguay has been identified as a new Prodiplosis species, based on morphological, genetic and host specificity studies (Prodiplosis hirsuta). As the record on J. clavuligera was the only one for Bolivia, P. longifila is now considered absent from Bolivia.
