Comments
During 2003-2004, PLMVd has been detected in apricot (Prunus armeniaca) in Peloponnese and Etoloakarnania (Elena et al., 2008).

According to Boubourakas (2009), PLMVd was first found in Greece in 2001 in pear and wild pear samples, and later (2004) in apricot. More recent surveys showed that samples from various regions of peach (48 samples out of 53 tested), plum (11/24) and cherry (2/15) were infected by PLMVd.
