Comments
From New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets (2022-03): in 2004, P. ramorum was suspected at Tiffany Creek Preserve (Oystery Bay, Nassau county). Subsequent surveys in 2005 and 2006 did not detect the pathogen. Surveys have been conducted in high-risk nurseries receiving nursery stock from US states where the pathogen occurs, and all positive detections have been followed by eradication measures. All surveys have shown that P. ramorum is not established in natural habitats. P. ramorum is considered to be 'Absent, eradicated' from New York State.
