Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2022: Absent, pest eradicated
Comments
From State of New Jersey (2022-03): the pathogen is not naturally present in New Jersey. Occasional findings were linked to movements of infected horticultural material from western US states. All infected material was destroyed and further investigations (tracing-back and tracing-forward studies) confirmed the absence of the pathogen. P. ramorum is considered to be 'eradicated and absent' from New Jersey.
