Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2022: Absent, pest eradicated
Comments
From the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (2022-03): the pathogen is not naturally present in Connecticut. Occasional findings were linked to movements of infected horticultural material from western US states. All infected material found during trace forward investigations has been destroyed. Additional surveys confirmed the absence of the pathogen in nurseries and their surrounding environments. P. ramorum is considered to be 'eradicated and absent' from Connecticut.
