EPPO Reporting Service (2003/161) : first found, in Rhododendron and Viburnum plants in two garden centres and a nursery. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2018/227) : detected in 2016 and again in 2017 in Rhododendron plants in a public park. These infected plants had been imported. Under eradication.

From NPPO (2019): the outbreak of 2016-2017 was considered eradicated but in August 2019, Phytophthora ramorum was confirmed again in the same public park but in a different location on 3 young symptomatic Rhododendron plants planted in June 2019. Official phytosanitary measures were taken within 4m radius of infected plants. Tracing-back studies show that infected plants were imported in March 2019 from another member state. Out of 17 plants, 3 were planted in park, others were already sold before Phytophthora ramorum was detected.
