EPPO Reporting Service (1994/193) : severe Phytophthora rot of raspberry observed in 1992. Fungus was not successfully isolated, but its morphology strongly suggested P. fragariae var. rubi.
EPPO Reporting Service (1995/93) : P. fragariae var. rubi confirmed as the most damaging of four Phytophthora species on raspberry in Netherlands.
From NPPO (2013 and following years): P. rubi now occurs at a low prevalence in the Netherlands.
