From NPPO (2020): the earlier record was based on a collection specimen (IMI, 1988), but upon investigations, it was found that there was no information available on its history (e.g. location, date, identification methods). In addition, the pathogen has never been detected during general surveillance activities and specific surveys. The NPPO of Ecuador officially confirmed the absence of this pathogen in October 2020.
