Identified to cause Phytophthora root rot in Fraser fir and balsam fir seedlings in Chaudiere-Appalaches and Estrie, Québec, between 2019 and 2021 and death of balsam fir seedlings in a forest nursery of St-Modeste, Québec, Canada in October 2025.
