Especially in northern Italy (Emilia-Romagna, Trentino Alto-Adige, Veneto), but also detected in Basilicata, Campania, Lazio and Puglia.

EPPO Reporting Service (1993/121) : true status difficult to evaluate because of confusion with various graft incompatibilities.

RS19 97/170: observed in southern Italy (Campania) for the first time in 1994/1995.

EPPO Reporting Service (1998/168) : first report in Basilicata Region in 1997-09.

EPPO Reporting Service (1999/144) : also Puglia.
