EPPO Reporting Service (2009/097) : surveys carried out from 2000 to 2005 showed that P. pyri has been recorded in some areas of Rheinland-Pfalz and Baden-Württemberg, with a few incursions in Bayern, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Niedersachsen and Sachsen. In 2008, 3 cases of pear decline were found for the first time in Schleswig-Holstein. Under eradication.
