'Candidatus Phytoplasma prunorum'(PHYPPR)
Distribution details in Italy
From CABI Disease map 752 (1998): Present, no details
From NPPO: Present, restricted distribution
EPPO Reporting Service (1993/121) : continuously spreading, especially in Emilia-Romagna and Campania. Although plum leptonecrosis has been attributed to this pathogen, it seemed (1993) that another MLO was involved.
EPPO Reporting Service (1996/023): in Trentino region on European plum. Now considered, like plum leptonecrosis, to be part of "European stonefruit yellows phytoplasma". This also causes several diseases of peach in southern Italy: peach vein enlargement, decline, rosette (in Campania).
