Comments
First record in 1981 in the south-west (small foci, in a place where large volumes of eucalyptus logs had been imported from PT). By 1983, all plantations of Huelva, Sevilla and Badajóz were infested.

EPPO Reporting Service (95/158): first record in Northern Spain (Cantabria) in 1990.

By 2005, widespread in all areas where eucalyptus is planted.

According to Gonzalez Pena et al. (2007): Andalucía, Aragón, Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla - La Mancha, Castilla y León, Cataluña, Comunidad Valenciana, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra, País Vasco.
