Comments
Indigenous in the North, particularly in heavy calcareous soils. This record seems plausible and is supported by the US literature, but is not confirmed by the Mexican Plant Protection Service, possibly due to nomenclatural confusion.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/052) : definitely identified in 1995/96 in lucerne fields in region of Lagunera (Coahuila and Durango).
