According to Uygun & Satar (2008), P. kellyanus was determined in Aegean region of Turkey in 1995, and was recorded in 2006 in the Mediterranean region. It was accounted for 5% and 0.3% of the thrips specimens in the Eastern and Western parts of the Mediterranean region, respectively.
