First found on the north-west coast of Efate island in May 2019 (near the capital Port Vila), and then found at other sites several kilometres away. Under official control.
NPPO (2024): present on Efate and offshore Islands as Lelepa, Moso, Nguna, Pele, Kakula, Emau, Iririki and Erakor Island resort. Under official control.
