EPPO Reporting Service (2015/098) : the first specimens were collected in 1998/2002 in a residential area in Milano (Lombardia). Additional specimens were collected in 2004 from a single weeping willow tree (Salix babylonica) near Lucca (Toscana region). Also found in 2011 in vineyards affected by flavescence dorée near Varese (Lombardia region).
