EPPO Reporting Service (2006/188) : first reported in Italy in 2000, as O. eucalypti (but later opinion is that the latter has only been introduced into New Zealand, and that the species in the Mediterranean is O. maskelli)

Now found in Toscana, Campania, Calabria, Sicilia, Lazio. Not causing very much damage.
