From CABI Disease map 499 (2015): Present, restricted distribution
First found in June 2006 near Darwin (Northern Territory) in a commercial teak plantation. Within a month, teak leaf rust was also found in the north of Western Australia and of Queensland. Eradication is not considered feasible.
