2018: Transient
Detected in the orchid collection of Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris (greenhouse). Molecular tests confirmed the presence of OFV in symptomatic orchids (Maxillaria luteograndiflora and Paphiopedilum Germinyanum). The presence of the mite vector Brevipalpus californicus was also detected. Mite control and surveys are being undertaken in this collection to avoid the spread of the disease.
