Comments
First found in 1945 near Antioquia on Solanum betaceum (tree tomato). Present in the following departamentos: Antioquia, Boyacá, Caldas, Cauca, Cesar, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo Quindio, Risaralda, Santander, Tolima, Valle (Díaz, 2009). Damage and economic losses are reported in solanaceous fruit crops.
