EPPO Global Database

Nacobbus aberrans sensu lato(NACOBA)

Distribution details in India

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2002: Absent, invalid record
From CABI Disease map 779 (1999): Absent, unreliable record
From NPPO: Absent, invalid record
Comments
The record in Quarantine Pests for Europe is not confirmed by the Indian NPPO. According to the CABI map, more recent Indian publications than that cited in QPE only refer incidentally to N. aberrans and do not indicate presence. There does not appear to be any valid basis for considering that N. aberrans has ever occurred in India.
