EPPO Global Database

Pseudocercospora fijiensis(MYCOFI)

Distribution details in Guadeloupe

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2012: Absent, unreliable record
From CABI Disease map 500 (2003): Present, no details
Comments
The presence of black sigatoka was first observed in Januay 2012 in Guadeloupe. The older record (Lapeyre de Bellaire & Dubois, 1997) was considered by CABI (correspondance in 2004) as doubtful, most probably referring to another pathogen.
