First recorded in: 2016
Comments
First reported in August 2016 in the area of Clarendon. It then spread to other cocoa-producing areas. As of December 2017, Portland and St Thomas were the only places where the disease has not yet been detected. In 2019, the disease was reported as causing severe losses in the St Mary parish.
