2022: Present, restricted distribution
According to Welgama et al. (2022): abundant in the Northern Territory, the flood plains of Adelaide, and the Daly, Finniss, Mary and East Alligator River systems. Small infestations have also been observed in Western Australia and Queensland where they are subject to eradication.
