EPPO Reporting Service (2020/249) : a dead specimen was first found near Boston in December 2018. Two dead specimens were found in autumn 2020 the towns of Milford and Norwood. The pest is not considered to be established.

EPPO Reporting Service (2022/181) : during summer and autumn 2020, dead and live adult specimens were found in several parts of the state. As of August 2022, the insect has been found in several counties (Berkshire, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, Suffolk, Worcester), and established populations are recorded in several towns/cities (Fitchburg, Shrewsbury and Springfield).
