Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2007/195) : first found in 2006 in Toscana (province of Pistoia) as Luperomorpha nigripennis, but subsequently identified as L. xanthodera. Some feeding damage was noted on Arbutus unedo, Elaeagnus
angustifolia x ebbingei, Eucalyptus gunnii, Euonymus japonicus and Citrus.

EPPO Reporting Service (2012/012) and according to Del Bene & Conti (2009), L. xanthodera is established in Toscana in ornamental nurseries, feeding on many host plants.
