Comments
Liriomyza huidobrensis is occasionally found in Finland on glasshouse crops but it is always subject to eradication measures to prevent establishment.

EPPO Reporting Service 500/01 (1989). First EPPO record, intercepted in consignment of chrysanthemums from Netherlands. Also on gypsophila from Colombia.

EPPO Reporting Service (93/014): 2 infestations found in 1992-10, leading to an immediate eradication programme, which has been successful. Confirmed after further surveys, in Reporting Service 93/076, in 1993-04.

EPPO Reporting Service (97/181): 1 outbreak on Dendranthema in one glasshouse. Eradication measures applied.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/157) : no cases since the 1997 outbreak, so definitely eradicated.

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/021) : 1 outbreak in 2002-11; eradication measures taken.

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/167) : further incursion in 2003-09, under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2009/141) : further incursion at 3 places of production of ornamental plants, under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/203) : eradication was declared successful.

EPPO Reporting Service (2012/093) : 1 outbreak in 2012-04, under eradication.
