From country itself (1992): introduced in 1943, in the south. Not subject to regulations except in Queensland. Widespread in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia.

From Yousuf et al. (2014): established throughout much of the Pinus radiata-growing areas of Australia (except Tasmania), in South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and the southern parts of Queensland.
