Comments
According to Grodzki (2008) : since the 1990s, mortality of young larch trees due to infestation by I. cembrae have been recorded in two regions of Southern Poland (Sudeten mountains at altitudes from 700 to 1100 m - Silesia at 200 m). This might have been caused by an increase of wind/snow damage, and drought periods observed in these regions.
