Globodera rostochiensis(HETDRO)

Pest status declared by NPPO: Present, few occurences. Quarantine measures are applied according to the Regulation on Control of Potato Cyst Nematodes (OG.28073 and Dated: 03.10.2011) in line with related EU Regulation (2019-11)
EPPO Reporting Service (2000/133) : a later publication shows that the surveys in 1990 and 1992 in Central Anatolia, both G. pallida and G. rostochiensis were found in one field in Dörtivan county, Bolu province. Emergency action was taken to prevent any spread. Status is "Present: only in one location, under eradication".
From Toktay et al. (2018): G. rostochiensis was found in 17% of potato fields of the Aegean region (reaching 62% in Ödemis district, Izmir province). Also detected in Konya province.
