According to the NPPO (2013), official surveys carried out in 2012 detected the presence of Globodera spp. only in ware potato production (total infested area of 908 ha).
According to NPPO (2016), official surveys carried out in 2016 detected the presence of G. rostochiensis in ware potato (total infested area of 99 ha) and seed potato (0.5 ha).
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/157) : 1 outbreak was found in February 2017 in a potato field (1 ha) located in the municipality of Säkylä (Satakunta region). Under eradication.
