Official surveys conducted in 2010 showed that G. rostochiensis has a restricted distribution (NPPO, 2011).
Berger et al. (2020): Results of survey 2010-2019. in 2019, 14% of land used for ware potatoes were infested with potato cyst nematodes. The proportion of infestation with G. rostochiensis has decreased and mixed infection with G. pallida has increased.
