A paper by Wang et al. (2025) mentions the detection on Orgyia leucostigma. When contacted, the author explained that the scientific name was an incorrect translation from the Chinese common name. The pest recognized by their tool was Orgya postica, a common and widespread pest in southern China. The manuscript should be revised accordingly to avoid any misunderstanding.
