EPPO Reporting Service (2016/148) : first found in August 2014 in Sochi at the ‘Dendrarium’ (arboretum and botanical garden) and the ‘Riviera park’.
As of 2020-01: present in 2 federal subjects, the established quarantine zones cover 185233 ha in total.
From Musolin et al. (2022): present along the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus (at altitudes up to 800 m a.s.l.), also in Adygea, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Rostov and Dagestan.
