Doubtful records are presumably G. mangiferae.

Guarnaccia et al. (2017) isolated Phyllosticta citricarpa from citrus leaf litter in Italy, Malta and Portugal, and P. paracitricarpa from citrus leaf litter in Greece. According to EFSA (2018), these findings were not confirmed by the NPPO.
