EPPO Reporting Service (1997/152) : reported to occur on Islas Canarias.

Subsequent surveys showed that F. oxysporum f.sp. canariensis occurs in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, La Palma and Tenerife. The fungus was detected only in gardens and public parks, but not in natural palm groves (Hernandez-Hernandez et al., 2010).
